Glasses of fruit punch ready for guests at a workplace holiday party.

The “I dos” have been said. It’s time to toast the new couple so everyone makes a beeline to the bar….only to wait in a long line as custom-cocktails are made.

Forget the wait: Punch to the rescue!

Punch. It was all the rage in the 17th and 18th centuries. (Check out our classic 18th-century-inspired punches below.)  Many people conjure images of fancy-shmancy punch being served from crystal bowls at garden parties or cricket matches. Or they shudder with memories of a horrible concoction of cheap booze at a college party. But punch is really just batchable, easy-to-serve cocktails, many with a long, distinguished pedigree, that will make your guests very, very happy.

Elephants Catering & Events is excited to offer house-made punches!  We’ll set up a punch station and you’ve got an instant party.

Here’s a taste of what our punches are packing (only the highest quality liquors and fresh citrus and other ingredients):

Founding Father’s Punch
The quintessential American punch made by our founding fathers (yes, George Washington, too) in the late 1700s.

Lion’s Tail
Once a forgotten cocktail, the Lion’s Tail has roared back to the craft cocktail world. Unique, refreshing and delicious.

Swedish Punsch
This 1733 punch recipe has become the national drink of Sweden. Its rich & beguiling flavor comes from Batavia Arrack, a decadent Indonesian rum.

Elderflower Gin Fizz
Bright, floral and elegant, this delicately flavored punch is perfect for a wedding or any special day.

Contact us today and talk about our food and beverage options, for your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or just because it is a Thursday night and you are exhausted from wedding planning and want to throw a party for your families and friends. (We don’t judge.)
