Punch. It was all the rage in the 17th and 18th centuries. (Check out our classic 18th-century-inspired punches below.)  Many people conjure images of fancy-shmancy punch being served from crystal bowls at garden parties or cricket matches. Or they shudder with memories of a horrible concoction of cheap booze at a college party. But punch is really just batchable, easy-to-serve cocktails, many with a long, distinguished pedigree, that will make your guests very, very happy.

Founding Father’s Punch
The quintessential American punch made by our founding fathers (yes, George Washington, too) in the late 1700s.
