May is blooming! It's officially patio season. Time to relax with a glass of rosé. New burgers are hitting our grills, and our catering team is busy celebrating graduations and planning weddings. The smell of BBQ is in the air. And there are events aplenty--including a big anniversary bash for Elephants. Settle in with a glass of rosé wine and think of all the delicious days you have ahead of you.
Shake season is here
It’s strawberry-basil milkshake season! This is no ordinary strawberry milkshake. We start with Ruby Jewel’s strawberry ice cream. We add our own homemade strawberry jam. Then we add milk, but we also add crème fraiche. And for the finale: fresh basil. Blend, baby, blend.
We all scream for the dessert bar menu at NW 22nd Ave.

Let’s take a closer look at Vann’s Italian Pie. Keeping with the colors of the Italian flag, we have mozzarella, spinach, salami, roasted red pepper, Parmesan and garlic olive oil. Mangia!

Dilly deli soup is back
You asked for it, and it's back: Dilly Deli Pickle Soup. It's creamy, rich with vegetables, and spiked and flecked with dill pickles. It's here for May, and then it will be gone until next year. As always, you can try any and all of our soups before you buy. So ask us for a taste!⠀

Bake to End Hunger
Elephants Delicatessen is proud to be a sponsor of the Bake to End Hunger, Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon’s once-a-year celebration of the best sweet and savory treats (and drinks) Portland has to offer. All proceeds from this showcase and auction benefit the good people at Partners, supporting children and families across the state of Oregon struggling with food insecurity. This year’s confectionary carnival takes place on Wednesday, May 29th at the Portland Art Museum.

The Annual Warehouse Sale is Back
It’s time once again for Elephants annual warehouse sale. On June 4th, 5th and 6th our northwest location will be home to unbelievable deals on our favorite housewares and gifts.
