Something sweet from our bakery
What says Valentine’s Day better than our temptingly moist Red Velvet Cake? This year we are offering 6 or 9 inch cakes, cupcakes & mini cupcakes. We also have deliciously fun ‘conversation heart’ shortbread cookies & romantically decorated Ding Dong Cakes. Other favorites include Passionfruit Mousse and Lemon Raspberry Heart Cheesecakes. When it comes to sweeties for your darling, we’ve got you covered.
Cuddle up with some bubbles
Champagne isn’t just for New Year’s Eve & ship christenings. It’s a delicious wine anytime, and especially around Valentine’s Day. We have an outstanding selection of Champagnes including some ‘grower’s champagnes’ that offer the quality of the big-boys at half the price. We are talking the ‘real deal’ here, not sparkling wines of inferior quality & taste. Stop by the wine wall & get in the mood…

International flavors at the pizza oven
Tart flambé is an Alsatian dish (flammkuchen) of bread dough rolled thin, covered with crème fraîche, thinly sliced onions and lardons, and cooked in a wood fired oven. Alsace bakers would use extra dough to gauge their oven temperature before loading in the loaves. The ‘pie’ was placed in the center of an oven and at the perfect temperature it would bake in less than two minutes. However, if the oven was too hot it would burn or catch fire earning it the name ‘flaming cake’. Our take on this famous regional specialty features our pizza dough & pancetta.
Our Cheesemonger, Kristen Parker, knows her way around a cheeseboard. She has put together a series of delicious & unique cheeseboards that are made to order. Each board offers a freshly cut selection of cheeses, charcuterie, olives, nuts & breads. Enjoy themed assortments like ‘locally made’, ‘Italian’, ‘blue cheese lovers’ & our favorite - the ‘leap of faith’, where we put something special together based on your preferences. These boards are a tasty way to learn more about the wonderful world of cheese. Swing by our cheese counter for more information.
