February Wine of the Month: Alexander Valley Vineyards Merlot, $19.95
Here’s the wine that will restore your faith in Merlot. This is a much more structured wine from Alexander Valley California that straddles northern Napa and Sonoma counties and is considered “Cab and Merlot Heaven.” Oozing sexy, spicy dark cherry, cassis and plum fruit backed by notes of chocolate and leather with supple tannins, this is a beautifully made Merlot.
