August’s hot weather will invariably shift into fifth gear, but we have 750 milliliters of liquid coolant to help you stay refreshed: Quinta de Aveleda Vinho Verde. Portugal’s entry for ‘Official Wine of Summer,’ Vinho Verde is a low-alcohol wine perfect for day drinking. A blend of Loureiro and Alvarinho grapes, this mineral-driven wine is packed with bright, crisp apple and pear flavors and a clean dry finish. Perfect with fish of any sort or as an aperitif before your next barbecue.
